Dreaming Lens: Were you wearing shoes? Were you looking for shoes? Were you shopping for shoes? Were you putting them on or taking them off? Were they yours or someone else’s? Were you aware of whose shoes you were wearing? Was someone else wearing your shoes?
Personal Focus: Shoes simultaneously protect our feet as well as express our sense of style. Our feet symbolize how grounded we are and our ability to maneuver effectively on our chosen path. The shoes that we wear or see in a dream reflect two things: how we protect the stand we take in life and how we express ourselves with regard to the steps we take as we walk through life.
Looking at a particular pair of shoes to wear in a dream connects to a direction you have not yet embarked upon but may be considering. Noticing someone else’s shoes might point to a number of thoughts about others, including envy, judgment or compassion–the latter of which can only occur when you have walked a mile in another person’s shoes.
A single shoe means a path that is only half-considered, or a switch that occurs midway through a process. Losing or looking for shoes might point out insecurity that keeps you from moving through life in a more grounded fashion. Sneakers or athletic shoes connect to speed and increased performance. High- heeled shoes make a statement about a deliberate presentation that has impact, but can debilitate movement. Wearing a very expensive shoe might illuminate issues around the desire for abundance.

What does it mean singing without shoes.

Singing is an expression of an idea that is so passionate, it transcends speaking. It’s as if an emotion is so powerful, it has to be sung, mere speaking isn’t enough. If this is done without shoes on, you can add the element of the idea being expressed being all the more grounded as often being without shoes gets us closer to the ground on which we are standing. I dreamed I took a job with a beauty parlor in downtown Southern Pines, NC. I was struggling financially, as I am in waking life, and was grateful for the job. My assignment was to go outside and see what kind of shoes everyone was wearing. Well the town was full of people and so many people walking around, I could not keep up with how many shoes I saw. There were a lot of shoes and all very colorful, like on Easter Sunday. Mostly reds and yellows and blues, not too fancy, but more fancy than casual. I am going through some romantic heartache at the moment. Thanks so much. Win.

I dreamed that I was walking with one of my girlfriends’ in her place of employment; I used to work there as well. While we were walking, I noticed that all of her shoes were on display. They were all very nice. I admired them, but knew I could not fit them (too small.) There was another ex-coworker in my dream as well, but I didn’t see her shoes. She was just prancing around in a pair of shorts and top. She no longer works there either. What does this mean? Can you help me?
The girlfriend and the ex-coworker are aspects of your personality and shoes connect to being grounded and the direction in which you are moving in life. This dream reminds me of the old adage, you can’t know another person until you’ve walked a mile in thier shoes!
My dream was wonderful, i had purchased three pairs of shoes. One were light pink pumps with sky blue embroidery on them they were so pretty, the next were sky blue pumps with some kind of white or grayish embroidery,very beautifull as well. the last pair were some sort of knee high boots the front were like sandals but it was actually closed at the heel. They were almost like a teal color with gold shoe lace that tied from the shin to the knee they as well beautiful. I would just like to knowif my dream meant something or was it just as common as they come.

i dream of shoes about fout times in a week the last one was about me putting shoes in a car
Shoes and cars both have to do with where we are going in life. The shoes are more directly related to the “walk we are walking” and they correlate with how we want to express ourselves on that walk and how grounded we are. To be putting a pair of shoes in a car is akin to being prepared for a choice that will occurr later on when your life lands you in another location (where you drive to).
I had a dream that I was at somebody’s house and then these other people ( I didn’t even know them) came into the house and told me to hurry up and follow them so I did. But as I was walking out the front door, I stopped to put my shoe on outside but when I looked at the shoes, they weren’t mine. It was big and brownish. It looked like one of em guys casual dress shoes, with the square top. Anyhow those people were in a rush so I was debating if I should just wear the shoe and hurry up so I could go with them but then my sister woke me up. Now in my dream it was really intense. I had people rushing to just put it on an some that we’re telling me to not put it on. Like as if it was bad or so. So what does this mean?
I had a dream that I was wearing two different shoes. One a conservative shiny patented dark brown high healed shoe on my right foot and a casual but nice black leather flat shoe on my left foot. I am walking in a crowd of people with some friends and I notice the difference in the feel of my step and I look down at my feet only to realize I have two different shoes on. I awake from the dream after looking down.
What a fun dream about choice and dichotomy! Remember that the right is the Masculine Principle (doing, action) and the left is the Feminine Principle (being, creativity). Add that to your sense of direction, groundedness and how you are walking your talk (or not).
I just woke up from a strange dream and had to figure out what that was about. I dreamt that I was trying to cook an eggplant using a recipe a co-worker of mines gave me verbally. I’d asked my older sister to help me with some parts and when it was almost done I realized I missed a step. I remembered what that step was but it was too late to do it, so I went to my room to finish getting ready to leave for work. And just when I was putting on my shoes (well, sneakers, had one on and was about to put on a sock to put the other on) her son came in wanting to take the particular shoe I was just just about to put on. And did he insist he had to take it! He was apparently a good match for me as I struggled to get him to stop wanting that shoe. Then his mother called him and he left me alone. I woke up right after that, what WAS that?
i had a dream that i was wearing a different colored shoe one foot was silver and the other was red, when i look down to realized that i was wearing different colored shoe i remember in my dream that the silver one was mine and the red one wasn’t mine, i also remember i walk passed a silver shoe which was the other pair but i can’t go back to look for it.
i had another dream that i and my husband was in a party and i was wearing two different shoe one was silver the other color was beige color in the dream silver color was mine shoe but the other color is not mine and it so painful that i have to look down to check the shoe then i realized is not mine shoe then i check the size i found out it was the wrong size i.e the beige colored shoe. then i was looking for key to go back home to change the shoe in the dream my husband had the key but i cant find him, but he was at the party but i just cant find him to get the key so i was unable to change the painful shoe.
the third dream was that my husband took my shoe against my will he wars it and left me, i wanted to give it to another man who can to visit us who need a spare shoe since he was a visitor but i couldn’t and my husband left with my shoe against my will.

I am very sorry for your loss. Dreams about someone who has just passed can be a very active part of grief. This does not sound like a visitation from your mum, but a dream from your sister’s unconscious. Ask your sister to consider how she might feel if she had “walked in her mum’s shoes,” as the saying goes. Some part of your sister’s psyche that has to do with her relationship with her mum is wanting her to be more grounded, or walk in a specific direction. Read the post about shoes, thinking about the qualities and beliefs that your mum had and I’m sure your sister can put together a satisfying interpretation of this dream for herself.
I dreamed that this girl was criticizing the shoes that I had on (which were super cute by the way). I ignored her until she kept following me and telling me my shoes were ugly. I finally punched her in the face and she left me alone…..weird.

I dreamed that a man that I have recently become infatuated with was at my door getting ready enter my home when he stopped to remove his shoes. I told him that he could keep them on. I would like to add that he is married but separated and I am torn about if I should date him or not.
I think this dream is clearly reflecting your ambivolence: You welcome this man into your consciousness, but want to make sure he is ready to leave at any moment and not to get more comfortable. You might want to consider asking your dreams to give you more information about this choice.
i had a dream where i was in a store trying on many different designer shows and i was very happy that they were in my size and very comfortable. i walked out the store with boxes and boxes of shoes being carried out by people behind me. It almost felt like i was watching myself walk out the store and seen all these boxes of shoes i bought being carried out the store for me. the one thing i noticed about the dream was it was a early morning dream, i woke up and went back asleep it was almost as if i was wake. please help me understand this dream…thank you
i wanted to join a group of people dancing but i had to have dancing shoes, i was given two pairs of shoes but when i opened the packet i found them in pieces so yes, i had to make my own shoes! The shoes seemed to be in 4 pieces and i started to lace them with the laces provided but, the shoes had some kind of lace around them and finding the eyelets for the laces proved difficult.
I think i made one pair which were black and very frilly when worn, I don’t recall dancing in them though..

Hi, I had a dream with my parents trying to set me up with marriage..so a girl took me to show me the boy…but i cant recall seeing him..on our way back, we took the train but i remember borrowing my dad’s shoes..but i am a girl…so when the train stopped to drop us off to our stop..i cudnt find my dad shoes..half of the pair…i search didnt find and i didnt want to miss my stop..so i came off the train and the train kept on going.. i stopped off to my mom and dad..what does this dream mean? in my country there is no train..
I was dreaming that me and my older sister had went to my grandma house and our grandmas house was a mess outside there where Weird shoes and weird high heels every wear … So we started to feel something was wrong then two boys i couldn’t remember who they where if it was my husband, guy friends or cousins can’t remember there faces? I had a dream last night about my ex boyfriend giving me a boot I was looking for earlier in a box.
The dream started with me seeing a box full of shoes and a pair of boots(black). Then I noticed that one of the black boots wasn’t in the box. Later my ex boyfriend handed me the boot.
What does this mean?
