Rocks and boulders in dreams

Universal Landscape: Primitive memory.

Dreaming Lens: Were you dreaming of pebbles, rocks, stones, boulders or even larger formations? Were these objects helpful, such as tools or building materials? Were they obstacles, such as a block in your path or an impediment to reaching a desired destination? Were they an annoyance, or actually in a position to cause harm?

Personal Focus: Rocks act as the memory for our planet. By examining their elemental makeup and physical structure, scientists can understand the history of the earth. The fossil records left in rock formations literally describe our planet’s journey through time. Seen in this light, even the stones and pebbles you find in your back yard are symbolic of the ancient past and the secrets of how we came to be in this vast universe. At the beginning of civilization, early man made tools out of stone. This same material was used later by more sophisticated cultures to create buildings. The remains of these objects and structures serve as symbols of the memory of the evolution of the human race.

Whenever stones, rocks or boulders are prominent in a dream, you may be connecting on some level to a primal image rooted in the distant past. On a more mundane level, the past that is being represented by this image may be your own personal history.

To begin your interpretation, examine the role or function the rock(s) or boulder(s) are playing in your dream. If you are using a rock as a tool or a weapon, your activity should be interpreted on its own merit with the added element of history, memory or a sense of the primitive.

This same perspective should be added to a dream image of constructing something with stone, with the primary meaning being that which you associate with the thing itself: Something made of stone is built to last forever. Rocks or boulders can represent obstacles or challenges if they obstruct your way or present you with some amount of danger. If this is the case, what may be blocking you in your waking life could be material that is deeply imbedded in your unconscious. Examine areas where you may be holding fast to old ideas that no longer serve you.

Painful memories can often seem like insurmountable obstacles or enormous boulders that appear to be immovable. If this describes your dream experience, it may be time to let go of outdated notions that still have the power to hold you back from fuller self-expression.

Along the lines of these landscaping items, what is your opinion of pebbles…not so much as a landscaping item or tool, but as coming from within one’s mouth.

I know it sounds odd, but I had a vivid dream where I was getting ill, and out of my mouth spilled tons on pebbles, a little smaller than dime sized. I could hear them clinking as they hit the ground…

    Thanks for any insight!

  2. mlennox August 16, 2011 at 10:35 pm #

What a wonderful question, thank you. Let’s put two things together here. One is any rock formation as connecting to memory. Next, let’s bring in the element of pebbles as a landscaping tool. A pebble is decorative, but more importantly, it requires absolutely no attention whatsoever. No water, no feeding, no concern over whether or not it will grow because it is, in fact, inanimate. Perhaps the pebbles in your mouth are old, memory-driven pieces of communication that are not organic to you today, but remnants of past realms of communication based on your history. They make you ill, but there they are. And they indeed make a sound when they land.

Last night my husband and I had a discussion. We’ve been married for 2 months and I ‎have 3 new step children now. I love my new family so much. Things have been hard ‎this week as our custody schedule changed with their mother, and my husband has been ‎working longer hours in his job (law enforcement). He asked me if I was happy. I’m not ‎happy in my current job and I’m desiring a new career. I know my husband supports me, ‎and I support him as well. We are so good together and when we’re happy, we’re happy! ‎

Last night I had a vivid dream about driving down the freeway and there was a huge rock ‎in the slow lane. I veered over and I realized there was a rock landslide to my right, and ‎huge rocks kept coming down. Each lane became more and more blocked as I kept ‎veering to the left and ended up in the fast lane. There were other cars trying to avoid the ‎rocks as I was maneuvering through them, but I was careful not to hit any other cars. ‎When I was in the fast lane, there was a huge rock behind me catching up to my car. I ‎was able to take my arm and push it off the freeway, but as I did that, I realized it may hit ‎a car below and I panicked. But the rock crashed below on a parked car. I keep thinking ‎about this dream today. ‎

What a glorious example of the dream life and the waking life coming together. Clearly this is moment in your journey where there is an enormous amount of conflict, risk, choice and change. Here are few things to consider: This is a “journey” dream where the freeway your are on reflects your current path through life. You’d like to stay safe and move slowly, but that is not an option because a bolder (a huge chunk of consciousness that is rooted in the past) is blocking your way in the slow lane. In fact, there is a landslide of old thoughts and belief systems that have come crashing down, putting you in some sense of danger. You are being forced to move faster and faster, but the old ideas keep gaining on you. And no one is really safe because if you clear these old ideas out of your own lane (your personal journey) you run the risk of harming someone else (your new family, perhaps). Feel free to contact me directly if you want more detailed input via a mini-interpretation or a one-on-one session.

Last week: held an druzy quartz the size of a football cut in half and my partner and I were traveling into the future. I came in and out of the dream and at one point I was five hours ahead and then back to normal time. I was excited to know a time machine didn’t have to be something you had to crawl inside. I was also happy traveling into the future since going to the ancient past is not my thing. If I can conger up this dream again, I’ll bring back the lotto numbers and share the winnings with you:)
Last night: was offered a rock the size of baseball but more pyrmid-like shape. Once I held it power grew inside of me and it called itself “Alex”. It was a very nice manly and protecting feeling.

All I can say is – WOO HOOOO!!! That sounds awesome. And how powerful is it that this energy named itself for you, which gives you immediate access to the assistance it has to offer you just by calling it by name! Thank you for sharing.

Cool, a topic about rocks in dreams!

This morning I woke up having a dream about a huge pile of man-sized boulders. It was just standing there in a park (where I used to play as a kid). It was not obstructing me or anything, I was just looking at the 50 foot tower of rocks.
I noticed someone (a slightly younger guy) halfway up the pile. He was trying to pull/kick one of the rocks out. (To me that felt like a slightly bad/stupid thing to do) Then when he finally did he and the boulder fell down on the ground. The guy slightly hurt himself, but was trying not to show his pain.

I wonder what this dream meant. I have a feeling the boulders might mean my ‘beliefs’.
In real life I am working on trying to get rid of (sub)conscious beliefs that block me.. so tearing down that pile ‘should’ be something positive. Maybe I’m not fully convinced that it is yet.

What a wonderful dream! Very often when we return to settings that were part of our childhood, we are being invited to look at how those times in our lives are impacting us today. And this particular setting is a park, suggesting that the theme you are exploring has to do with joy and playfulness. This feels important to me for your inquiry as you say you are looking to free yourself of old beliefs that do not serve you; it is my experience that old, limiting beleifs do indeed block us from feeling joy and seeing life as playful. These particular boulders are “man-sized” which suggests that they may have been initially formed when you were a boy, they are now as big as you are. Your unconscious clearly wants you to address this and is giving you a wonderful symbol to work with in the form of the slightly younger guy. He may be the part of your psyche that is currently attending to this task.

Tearing the pile down “SHOULD” be a positive thing. Rather than wonder about that, consider what the dream is showing you about what is occuring right at this moment. There is a part of you (reperesented by the young man) who is up to the task at hand. He is doing what he thinks is best, but that has challenging consequences as he falls. He must be somewhat ashamed of his apparant failure as he attempts to hide his pain. Add to this that you judged him in the first place and this does indeed suggest that something isn’t quite feeling right about how you are approaching the task at hand.

So let’s make a few points about inner work. First – it can hurt. Secondly – we can often feel like we don’t know what we’re doing. Thirdly – we often judge ourselves harshly for any number of things, such as perceiving that we are failing. I don’t believe we ever actually have to know how a healing is going to occur. In fact, I’d say that while the notion that you “SHOULD” tear down the boulders may or may not be true, what is very apparent is that the boulders are there, therefore, they want to be explored. If I were going to give you an assignment on how to work with this dream, it would be to go back to the boulders in a meditative state and in your imagination, simply explore them. I can remember nothing more delightful as a boy than climbing over rocks, so have at it!

Beliefs that don’t serve you may not need to be destroyed in order to have salvation from them. You can simply choose to heal them and behave from different beliefs – like the belief that life is filled with joy!

    Hey Michael,

I just realized I totally forgot to respond to your wonderful reply, even though I read it right after you posted it. Thanks for having this website, I love it!

As for your remark about ‘judging the younger guy’ (who probably was a part of my (younger) self).. I think you’re right! I find that judgments are SO easily made.. and often so quickly or small that one hardly notices them himself. The funny thing is that I have been trying to get some of the joyfulness and playfulness back that I used to have as a child. Through time I’ve learned to CONTROL myself in order not to run into problems. I’ve over-adjusted myself from a reckless boy into a ‘wise’ (read: controlling) man. I want to find that balance, that sweet-spot.

Anyway, it’s great that I got this dream and I will certainly look into it some more when in a meditative state, like you say.

One question I have for you: what do you believe is the most effective way to remember your dreams more easily? Of course I’ve tried lying still in bed for while, after the alarm clock goes off. But this doesn’t really help me a lot. What I want to do is integrate more ‘awareness’ into my dreams, so that the mind can store those images in stead of just observing them…
    Any ideas?

  10. mlennox January 5, 2012 at 1:05 am #

Well, now it is my turn to have a delay in responding! I hope you are having an easy transition into 2012!

I absolutely LOVE that you are committed enough about your dream work to lie in bed a few extra moments in order to connect to your dream life. That alone is the posture that I encourage people to take – that is to nurture the sensation of the nether-world that exists between sleeping and dreaming.

However, the best activity there is to encourage a conscious mind connection to the dream state is writing. Make sure you have your dream journal or a pad by your bedside. Now, instead of lying in bed, incorporate the activity of writing into your process. Pick up the journal and write something when you first wake up. Even if you have to write “I don’t remember anything from last night” that is more powerful than waiting for some image to jump forward. In this way, you make a connection between the visceral experience of writing and the netherworld between sleeping and waking. Add this to your morning ritual and I assure you that you will increase the amount of dream content you remember in your waking life.

Please feel free to contact me as you progress on this journey!

I had a dream about me living in a condo that was built on rocks. It seem lime it was a rocky mountain looked very alien, not of this world. My father, who passed many years ago, was there with me. I cannot recall what he was saying. In the dream, I went around to the first floor and around the building that overlook the rocks. I saw clear water rushing through the rocks and there was a part that had a sort of a pool within the rock. It had two places with pebbles in it and very clear water was rushing like in a whirling way oposite each other. I still have a strong feeling about it maybe because it was so different. That night before that dream I also had a dream where I saw the actress Salma Hayed dressed in blue sort of a cobalt blue and she was smiling and I was happy to see her.

  12. mlennox March 2, 2012 at 8:42 pm #

The dream sounds quite lovely – and when you consider that a condo is a home and homes represent our sense of self, this dream may be illuminating who you are as a result of the father you had. The rocky terrain on which it was built may be the multi-generational memory associated with that part of your lineage. There is a lot of healing energy suggested by the flow of water – which is symbolic of the way in which the flow of emotions wears down on old structures or ways of being, clearing new paths.

    Good morning,
Recently I have been trying to pay more attention to my dreams. Well, I woke up this morning and I was completely stumpt. most of my dream is a blur but the part that really stuck out seems so strange. I was trying to make my way up this mountain that had a beautiful. I stopped half way up to look back and take in the view when I saw two huger bolder/rock figures. They were in the shape of a man who had his arm around a boy as if he was giving advice to the child. The only way I can describe their appearance is very biblical. As I was staring at these fIgures they began to move and walk up the mountain in my direction. I don’t thing they noticed me at all but I became afraid and started running away then I woke up. I have no idea what this could mean and I can’t find anything similAr online. Has anyone had a similar dream?

I want to thank you for your help in finding meaning to my dream. The interpretation is spot on. I have been doing a lot of spiritual work involving a lot of things from the past and the interpretation affirms that I’m on the right path. Thank you, for the work that you do.

Last night I had a dream that I can’t shake! While this particular part of the dream was short, it’s impact was greater than many I have experienced. I dreamt that I was lead to a circle of people in a vast field of boulders. The stacked boulders were a brillant orange and red, like a desert formation. Despite knowing any of the surrounding people, they encouraged me to drive over the rocks in my small volvo, like an off-road vehicle. I doubted my abilities (as well as my old cars’!), but decided to accept the challenge! My dream became very vivid, and I felt each boulder under my tires. The shocks of my car perfomed as I had wished as I drove near vertically against the formation. Like a typical dream, my mind switched to something else, but I felt as though I had successfully conquered the boulders, and even encouraged afterward!

Could you please tell me,what does being chased by a huge boulder with many holes in it mean??

  17. mlennox August 2, 2012 at 2:23 pm #

Being chased is a standard anxiety dream that represents the generalized fears of every day life coming after us. Rocks can often symboize very old belief systems. Perhaps the holes in the rocks are representing the way your old belief systems are beginning to erode in order to be replaced by more faith-based living?

I dreamt that large bricks or blocks were coming out my mouth, what could this possibly be?

  19. mlennox August 24, 2012 at 4:25 pm #

Bricks and blocks are constructed out of very solid materials and we build with them. Something that comes out of your mouth may connect to communication of some sort. Perhaps you are building a case for something you are saying in your life that you need to construct as true.

    Very interesting topic!
So…last night I had a dream that their were boulders in the front yard ( specifically in the lawn). I was taking my son to the bus stop and noticed them on the grass. ( our grass has been dying lately and our gardener has put stuff all over ( in real life)). I figured that the gardener had put it on the grass to help it grow. Not sure how big rocks on grass can help ( but that was the feeling). Then I looked up and down the street and noticed that from the start of the street to the end of our circle of homes, there were these boulders. It must have some how obstructed the people’s pathway because I noticed a lot of people in the street as if the sidewalks were taken up. (We actually live on a really quiet street so I am not sure why so many people were walking in my dream). There was a sign ( looked like it was put there by the city) in my front yard explaining perhaps the cause of the “construction” or the cause of the rocks” that I saw a woman reading but I couldn’t see the sign ( but it looked like an yellow road arrow) so I assumed it was about the construction and the boulders ( there wasn’t any construction going on…just the boulders). I wondered why they had put the sign in my yard?! and at first I thought perhaps it was a for sale sign ( like we are moving forward with our short sale) but then realized that it was a “construction” sign. As I was leaving my door, there was a head of a kid ( not sure who but it felt familiar but all I could see was a black head of hair) that was obstructing my door and making it difficult to leave and I was annoyed at him and pushing him out of the way and telling him to stop it because my son’s bus would be coming and I didn’t want to not being able to see it ( especially with all issues of the boulders and street issues).
Appreciate your response. I usually don’t remember my dreams and this dream was early morning and some what vivid…hence the interest.

ALL dreams are good, even when they don’t feel so pleasant. You may be deciding whether or not it is of value to hold on to an old idea. The power is in the choosing right now, not in the result. Let the dream percolate so your unconscious knows you are listening to it and you will be blessed with more information as the tale unfolds.

  23. mlennox October 12, 2012 at 2:44 pm #

The boulders in the front yard may represent generational beliefs about home and family. Since they are in the front yard, it may pertain to how you wish others to see you based on the perspectives of your parents and your ancestors. But there is change afoot in a big way (sale, construction). The head of a kid may be the ideas or thoughts that are indeed making it difficult for you to step into new ways of being in the world.

I had this dream my friends mom was yelling at me for being shameful and gave me this white tea, and told me to drink it. I did and as soon as it touched my tongue it turned to little pebbles and dirt and more and more kept coming out and I was trying to spit them out but I just kept choking on them. It felt so real, and I was so, so scared and disgusted and woke up. It was weird.

I have been pretty unstable due to my past and my life in the military. Althugh I got out of the Army last year, I still find my myself to be very unstable and unhappy. I have a 4 year old son and a boyfriend who is still in the military. My boyfriend and I were suppose to be married last year, however things didn’t work out as planned and I decided to move out on my own and wait untill things got better between us before getting married. He is soon to come up on orders for relocation and I have been searching for a more stable job.

Not sure if this has anything to do but in my dream last night I saw a good friend of mine and my sister which I hadn’t seen in years. My sister stayed at her house right by my friend’s and my friend and I go for a walk to catch up on things. On the way back we see a lot of huge rocks in the middle of the street blocking the way, as if they fell from the sky or we had been attacked or something. It was a lot of chaos going arround. My friend was trying to get to her dad and me to my sister but we had to climb a builing to do so. We had some help doing so but my friend was struggling going up. I seemed to climb with no isses and helped her on the way up. Once she got to the top I climbed up again with no issues. In my dream, despite of all the chaos, I still had a sence of strenght and success due to the climbing, yet I was still worried and scared for my sister and her kids because I couldn’t find them. I also remember people saying that everyone was fine and no body got hurt. Just wondering what this dream could possibly mean.

  26. mlennox December 12, 2012 at 4:25 pm #

Thank you for sharing and I recognize that your waking life has a bit of chaos in it, as does your dream. The overall sense of climbing higher and making your way despite the chaos around you is the dream reflecting the strength you are exhibiting in your waking life. Climbing higher in the dream is to be getting to higher ground, having “higher” thoughts about your situation and perhaps giving you better vantage point to see what is happening around you. The rocks in the middle of the street may connect to family dynamics (you are with your sister in the dream, reflecting the presence of those family issues we all take with us into our adult relationships) that are showing up and blocking your way in your ongoing and uncertain relationship with your fiance. The dream is a good indication that something is being worked out in your unconscious so that you can have a better experience in your life. Good luck and thank you for your service!

i have been having this lucid dream of some kind or vivid mental picture or scene even when i’m awake..where a huge gigantic pebble or some kind of rock that hovers on top of me sometimes i’m holding it, i get so scared by the energy it emits and it panics me for a while and the only remedies was to stop thinking about it and do some thing or wake up or drink water. I don’t know what it means but every time it occurs something tragic happens or problems occur on me or somewhere and someone else, please help me explain the meaning of this.

I always dream that my sister is buried under the big rocks in the Lake Michigan harbor. My mom, my sister, my dad, and I feed her under there. She is there for four years.

I had a dream last night that my mom & I were riding in my dad’s pickup (she was driving) and there was a huge boulder rolling down the road behind us. There was a man on a bike in front of us peddling fast because he saw it to. It hit the back of the truck once. I kept telling her that we needed to hurry. I told my mom in my dream that I felt very upset and did not want to be left alone. Then it just rolled off the side of the road. That was the 2nd time in the same dream that I saw the rock but I dont remember much about the 1st time it appeared. As we drove into town there were piles of rocks everywhere like pieces of buildings had fell. I thought bombs had gone off or something. I kept telling her that we needed to go to my house which was near by but she wouldn’t take me there. I think she pulled into a parking lot and then I woke up.

Hello, I was winning if you could help me with a dream I had recently.

It started of with me at my current home. I walked onto or small porch. It was clean and the fence was freshly painted it seemed. It was snowing and the snow was building up quite greatly by the porch. I remember calling my cousin to come and see the beautiful snow. After she saw it and left, it began to rain quite vigorously. The pile of snow by my house began to melt rapidly and reviled a fairly large bolder beneath. I looked at the side walk and the snow was melting and I started to get angry because I liked the snow, and then the melting snow began to start a flood. I ran into the house and called my cousins to hide. Then it switched to us running through a boat with big glass windows. Through the windows was a wild ocean or lake or something. I was scarred that the water was going to break the glass, so I ran ahead of my cousins to go through some open does. With me being nervous about the windows, I began to close out my cousins as I ran through the doors. Then I saw a winding door and felt like closing the doors made no since because if the windows did brake and the water seeped in then it would get through the winding door. But I let it go and continued running down a hall with polished wooden floors until reached a room in the back of the bottom if the boat. There was some lady their talking to a person to conduct us out of the storm. My cousins came in after me and I cradled my youngest cousin and closed my eyes. The conductor lady seemed to be calm about the storm we were in and she made me upset because it didn’t seem like she cared about our safety. Then suddenly, I was on the roof of the bout. There was a huge island on gigantic mountainous bolders we were about to vrash into; but I took my foot and pushed the boat away before we could crash. Then I saw a shore line, but it was very far and seemed deserted. Then I woke up.

Do you think you can describe what this may have meant for me ?

    Dear Mr. Lennox,
I am trying to interpret a dream I had two nights ago. I would appreciate your feedback. In my dream a woman was trying to get through a row of men and women with suits on that were situated to my right vision. Without their lips or faces moving, I was told it was the “School of Rocks”. I replied “rocks”? Then pictured a variety of small rocks to them. A female’s long whispering voice said to me “boulders-the big ones”. I could see a woman trying to get into this “School of Rocks” (which by the way, there was no school or structures or floor, just people standing in a row and air. (One man in the middle I could see more clearly than the others). I was told she couldn’t get into the school without the help from Alec. (Alec is my boyfriend.) So I see this woman gliding through the air towards my left and as she was gliding she was changing from a woman to a little girl back to a woman and so on like that until she saw Alec, my boyfriend, who was in the left side of my vision/dream. There was a definite kind and gentle aura about Alec and he proceeded gliding with the woman to the row of people on my right and they let her in the School of Rocks. There was nothing else around. No windows, no vehicles, nothing but air. It wasn’t a nightmare or unsettling dream and I think I could have been the woman/little girl I was seeing in the dream but I don’t know. Alec and I have been dating for a little over 3 months. I told Alec about the dream and this is what he told me and why I am writing to you:
Alec told me his first course in the morning at college was geology. This was about 40+ years ago. Geology was his favorite course and he scored higher than any other student in this entire upscale college in California. He proceeded to tell me that he looked into career in geology but it didn’t look like there was a demand for geologists so he pursued a different career course. I didn’t know this about Alec before the dream. He agreed that he never told me about his college courses other than financing and having fun. He’s owned his own business for many years called Atlas Excavating. His business used to be booming but it’s not doing well in the past several years. I am a nature person. I Love the forest, rivers, birds and animal watching. I feed the birds everyday. I have a passion for making birdhouses and just started my own business. Alec has been a wonderful help with that. But when I read up on dreaming about rocks and boulders I can’t seem to figure out the message because this dream told me about Alec’s past so it seems. Yes I have lucid dreams now, I used to have nightmares for 3 years until I decided to move and moved on to where I’m at and I call this my healing place for me and my dog. I am a healer. I am very spiritual and have psychic abilities. Now I’m dreaming things that are telling me about a person’s past and maybe my future? Or, was it a dream to prove to Alec that I have spiritual and psychic abilities? Or is it something else? I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

sir, would you please help me interpret my dream about driving a car towards pebbles and boulders which i successfully pass through?

  34. karen April 1, 2014 at 7:17 pm #

I dreamt a very short but strong dream that I found a rock with a hole clear thru it. The next day, while in my yard, I was strangely drawn to an area near my deck. I knelt down and after picking up a few pebbles, found a rock with a hole clear thru it! It is about the size of a quarter and round but oddly shaped in the form of a head and with a face having two eyes, etched nose, and upper jaw of a mouth. It is an old , smooth rock and the marking seem naturally occurring, including the hole that penetrates thru its left eye. Well, after dreaming about it and then finding it, I felt it was meant to be mine. I was surprised when I was unable to slip a chain thru the “eye” of the rock since the hole seemed large enough. After several attempts and closer examination, I discovered the rock had some kind of magnetic property that drew the chain and didn’t allow it to slide down. I have since laced a piece of rawhide thru the hole and have been wearing it as a necklace. The rock is just a riverbed variety that appears to be a muddy quartz (not a rock you would expect to be magnetized). Although the face looks a little spooky, I call it my angel rock and believe it will bring good fortune. What do you think?

I ha a really weird dream that I was at this giant pond. It was beautiful, really deep, and had giant rock formations in it for people to walk and sit on. I was on the biggest one and went to jump to the one beside it but it moved and started falling apart and sinking. I fell into the water and as I was falling deeper and deeper, I saw all these sting rays below me so I started swimming up an they swam up around me. I was close to the top but hands came down an grabbed me helping me up and he hugged me (no idea who he was). Then some lady came to take everyone to church and it was a huge room with a bunch of towers. I heard an alarm going off so I followed it and it lead me to the top of the tallest tower an my ex boyfriend was there sleeping, so I left and like 5 mins later he showed up and was like “why didn’t you wake me up? My phone was ringing. Why didn’t you wake me?” Then I woke up… I’m really confused by this and it’s been stuck in my mind all day, which is weird bc I usually forget my dreams. Can you help me? Lol

This is very accurate and helpful thanks for taking the time to put this together. I never thought of rocks having the memory of the earth and that this could signify memories in your subconscious.

I had a dream last night about admiring a controversial design of a large old stone roman fort like building.
Stone from windows which were set back in wall angled out so periferal vision from windows where clear.
I then found myself under a tall stone building which collapsed on me twice.
The first time I nearly got out, but then it happened again and dream ended.
Following this dream was a dream about ex girlfriend. And the other was being in a massive cruise liner/ferry where my friend needed to get off but couldn’t decided to or not.
I showed him an opportunity to get off but he ended coming back on.
Quite interested to hear others opinions on this if they would like to share.

I had a dream standing on the side of the sea watching few people riding horses inside the sea. On the way they meet a huge rock that made them to stop but no one drowned. They ended up climbing the rock and nothing has drowned.

Hi – hope you can help

Last night I dreamt I was sitting in a parked car outside my ex partners house – I was in the driving seat, when a boulder came crashing through the car injuring my leg and ribs but destroying the back of the car – I could not see who pushed the boulder but think it was a woman and it was pushed from the roof of the house.

Please help – this is driving me mad 🙂

    Thanks x

Hi, I’d like to share my dream and hope you can help interpret it 🙂

I was driving down the road and began seeing loose tire rims scattered along its path. Some were attacked pretty high, while some were only one dimension high; others were lying sideways next to potholes. I avoided these obstacles on the path, only to find myself abruptly driving towards a train track surrounded by gray and black heaps and planes of gravel….this was a fork in the road. I frantically veered right (the road shifted, like tracks shift when redirecting a train), but somehow found myself on the left side of the road. I noticed a train coming straight for me, so I abandoned the vehicle and ran for cover. The car disappeared, but the train remained in view. As it proceeded, I just stood and watched each car pass. The sound of the horn was deafening, the ground shook and rumbled really hard. All of a sudden, the wheels began kicking up gravel and dust, creating the effects of a sand storm. I ran toward a hill and covered my face with the shirt I had on, finding it difficult to see beyond all of the debris. The was a rickety fence blocking my escape from the dust and rocks. Other people were present that I hadn’t noticed before…I gave them cues to cover their faces as well. The train procession seemed to never end. Oh yeah, the backdrop of the sky and open space was almost black & white, with an opaque contrast of orange and canary yellow…everything else was in color, but relatively dark. I’d truly appreciate your insight…thank you in advance!

I had a dream last night. It was a long dream, felt like a week went by. All there was in the beginning was loud thunder and sounds of crashing. It was too dark to see what was going on but the ground shook and I kept going for cover as the thunder was followed by a huge jolt of the ground. I felt like I was near the ocean shore. Toward the end of the dream, I finally saw the impact. I did not physically see rocks, falling, just heard the crashes..Before i woke up, it became brighter outside and I saw huge meteor-like holes, sizes of trucks and cars…huge holes in the soil. The ground had may be three or more massive holes in it and i felt completely stunned. I wasnt exactly running for cover, more like i was in ducking qnd survival mode, but I didnt go anywhere…just stayed waiting with fear and panic..weird.. i have never dreamt of boulders or meteors in my life. Any meanings? Interpretations? Explanations?? Would help. In my dream, upon seeing the actual impact of whatever caused the holes, i decided they must have been boulders or meteorites and wondered how i didnt get hurt.

Last night I dreamt I saw floating rocks. There was an enormous rock faced valley. A line of conical shaped rocks, big n small, floated in it from one edge right across to the opposite side. The cones pointed downwards. The first 6 rocks closest to the edge were the largest, though not all the same size. The rest of the rocks were tiny in size. Some small stones , others as tiny as sand. Then, towards the center, there were 6 large rocks again. Though not as big as the first ones. About half the size. Distance between the largest six rocks was approx 2 feet. Bt d distance between d very 1st large rock n d lip of d valley was almost 8 feet. I dreamt this whole structure existed in Australia. It was a sport for people to jump across the 1st 6 rocks using ropes. The rocks bobbed violently when anyone stepped on them. Only one man in the world had done it without ropes. My husband was insisting on trying it without ropes. N I convinced him to try the practice rocks 1st. (There was a manmade replica of it on the ground for practice.) The whole thing was a magnificent and majestic sight.

What about having an entire dream of looking at a stretch of broken rocks and picking up the pieces to try to put them together again?

The other night I saw an enormous floating rock in my dream. The dream began where my fiance and I had left my boys at home to quickly run errands. As we were headed home we took the back roads and alleys downtown. He was driving and I was sitting in the passenger side admiring the view outside until I noticed unusual dark clouds forming above us. As we passed one of the buildings I got another glimpse of the sky and noticed an enormous rock floating in the air. It had rough edges and was sort of cone shaped on the bottom. The color was a very dark red-orange. I then saw what looked like military air crafts flying above the clouds and a large wall of smoke that shot up to the sky, concealing everything behind it. I took my phone out to try and capture the event, but the phone camera was disabled from those features. Me being clever thought maybe I would use snapchat, and again, it too was disabled. As we reached the main roads, I saw that there was a panic and everyone was scattering trying to find safety. I told my fiance we needed to get home quickly to the boys, in case anything happened…and my dream transitioned after that. Any insight on what this might mean?

Im a big believer in dreams and the meanings and messages they carry into my life. Latest one has left me wondering. Seeing large football sized rocks falling from the sky. Not causing any damage as such only due to the fact they were dropping one at a time slowly. Strange enough my neighbor was there with me and he was catching them all. The part that stood out was among the clearing of clouds i looked up to see a massive rock just floating over above our heads!!!

I have a recurring dream. That I’m beside a river or lake possibly, and there’s water under me as well. I have to jump from very large columns of rock to rock to get where I’m going. It’s almost never difficult and I seem to like it most of the time, often enjoying it. Never the same landscape though. Often have to tell others what I had to do and sometimes bragging about it. This is so weird as I as an adult with back injuries would never do this łol.

I just had a dream involving a huge boulder/Rock. I was holding on to it (no straps/ropes/harness) and the whole thing started moving super fast like through the streets! So I held on tight, I recall a woman yelling out ‘figure 8’ as we moved past her. This guy that I didn’t know/can’t seem to recall was there holding on next to me, on my right. Finally the boulder stopped and I junmped off. What does it mean in a dream when you are riding/holding on to a fast moving Boulder? It was like I was using it as if it were a car/vehicle.
